  • Oil rotary vacuum pump(Direct Vane type vacuum pump:BT Series)consist of pump body, including pump housing, rotor being eccentric in cylinder motor oil case, the front or rearcover of cylinder, and parts related to it. The central working unit of a rotary vane vacuum pump is the pumping system. It consists of a cylinder with ports outside which are used to take in exhaut the gases to pumped inside. There is a rotor that is mounted eccentrically to the cylinder. The rotor has slots into which vanes are fitted. The vanes slinding along the cylinder wall divide the free inner space into working chambers. During one full rotation of the rotor, the chamber volume increases from zero to maximum and then decreases again continually to the minimum volume. Actual pumping is effected and decrease in size of the sickle-shaped chamber of the working space. The decases of the chamber volume causes the contained gases to be compressed. The compression must be strong enough so that gas presure becomes higher than the opening pressure of the outler valve. For lubricating and tight sealig, oil is supplied into the vanes and cylinder, vane and rotor, and journals.

    2) BT type oil rotary vane vacuum pump is fitted with the anti-suck back valve system.The oil pressure of the forced lubrication system control the intergral antsuck valve. As soon as the oil pressure decreases by switching off pump or power failure, the valve actuates, shutting off the attaches vacuum system and vention the pump. This action is unaffected by gas ballast. The inlet port shut off so quickly that there is virtually no venting of the vacuum system (minmum air back-flow). When the airing/isolation valve closes, it automatically vents the pumping chamber to atmospheric pressure. Any suck-back of oil into the vacuum system is thus prevented. The BT type anti-suck back valve is improved with advanced technology and it is much reliable.


    3) these pump use the standard ISO KF(quick clamp) fitting on both intake and exhaust ports to allow for quick connection and disconnection to vacuum system.

    4) Special feature of the pump is extremely low operrating noise level, because the laboratory vacuum pump is used almost exclusively at the workstation. With the gas ballasat valve in the closed pump noise level is 50dB on the smaller pumps and dose not exceed 56dB on the larger pump. Pump and motor shaft are connected with a flexible coupling for operation smoothly and quietly.
